Chapter 3 - Paper design blueprint


Blueprint


The Game Play Mechanics for my game are:
  • Collect resources (e.g. clay, stone, trees, food). So the player can uses it to achieve objective
  • Research in safety technology. So the player can uses these research to produces better safety tools
  • Produces tools base on chosen safety technology by the player. So the cave man don't die that easily at work
  • Build building. To increase population and get more functionality
  • Upgrade building (e.g. temple, safety research building, tools production building, storage building). Upgrade these buildings will allow more research, more storage, reduces production cost for the player
These objective or game play mechanics relate to my original story idea by giving the tools the player needed to achieve safety in the cave man tribe, which means that to reduces the death rate of cave man from work injury.

The level objective for my game are:
  • Collect 500 for each type of resources
  • Increase population of the tribe to 70 cave man
  • Complete the Research for 6 safety technology
  • Upgrade the temple
  • Achieve the cave man's safety rate to 1 cave man die in every 3 min
These objectives is mostly base building objectives that can be identify all to be done on the cave man tribe's camp.
